Are you operating a program without doing an evaluation of it? If so, then you may not know if your program is a
success or not. A good program evaluation, properly planed will provide your organization feedback on what’s working
and what’s not.
R & A has a long history of helping organizations with program evaluations. We work best when we are involved in the
planning stage of the project. This way we can advise your organization on what to include as documentation in your
program. We can, of course, provide evaluation services while the program is in operation.
We use the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award Performance Excellence Criteria Guidelines when conducting
evaluations. We want to be sure that all projects that we evaluate have comprehensive feedback loops to provide you
maximum information.
The projects we have evaluated include:
- A multi-year project for the State of Florida Department of Education to evaluate a school-to-
work plan; - For the US Department of Labor, an evaluation of the impact of welfare reform on various urban
areas (done with a number of university partners); - For the Broward County Housing Authority, an evaluation of an after school computer education
program for children living in public housing; - Burglary and truancy prevention projects funded by the US Department of Justice for the City of
Sunrise (FL) Police Department; - A children’s cultural arts program for the Board of Commissioners of Broward County Florida
(Multi-year project); - Annual evaluations for the PACE Center for Girls (FL) funded by the Florida Governor’s Office
and the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice; - A pregnancy prevention program funded by the Jacksonville Jaguars National Football Team at
the Jacksonville (FL) PACE Center for Girls; - A two-year evaluation of Gilda’s Club of South Florida for the Health Foundation of South
Florida; and, - A pregnancy prevention program funded by the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice for the
Broward (FL) PACE Center for Girls.
