Reports based on complex data often go unread.  Why? Often the results are written in scientific shorthand that most
readers don't’ understand.  Too often the writers of the reports want to help the stakeholders and readers understand
“Just how complex this problem may be.”   That often means that they write for peers and not for the average reader.

Let R & A help simplify your reports, analyze the data so that it does make sense for you, your stakeholders and for the
public.

  • We can help by analyzing original data not yet analyzed.
  • We can help by reanalyzing data that appears to be conflicting.
  • We can help you redesign reports, develop new report styles, or do special studies on projects or concerns.

Here are some of the complex issues we have tackled:

  • Our staff provided technical assistance and evaluation services to the State of Florida WAGES (TANF) State
    Board, Tampa (FL);
  • Our staff planned and coordinated a project to train senior citizens to return to employment in an office
    environment, funded by the Florida Department of Elder Affairs;
  • Our staff planned and coordinate a national demonstration project created by Brandeis University to encourage
    and support at-risk high school students during the summer (along with the Broward Public Schools);
  • Finding out the impact of welfare reform on women in Palm Beach (FL) County;
  • Determining the effectiveness of a burglary prevention project for the Sunrise (FL) Police Department;
  • Staff created a proposal for the Board of Commissioners of Lauderdale Lakes to create a “arts park” within the
    city;
  • Finding ways to reduce prostitution and homelessness for the Hollywood (FL) Police Department (funded by the
    US Department of Justice); and,
  • Comparing the American Communities Survey and other administrative databases for the US Census Bureau
    for Broward County Florida.
